By now, most of you know that the state has been struggling with a shortage of nursing assistants (NAs) since the hurricane hit the Florida Keys last fall.
NAs are the frontline nurses who manage the medical care of patients in Florida’s hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
The demand for these roles has been so high that the Florida Nurses Association has begun accepting applications for the jobs.
However, while NAs can typically get the job through the state’s Medicaid system, they’re not eligible for the state tax credit program, which is available to those who qualify.
So while there are many NAs who are eligible for that credit, only a few, like the nursing assistant at Florida Health Care, have been able to find work through the federal government.
The Florida Department of Labor has been trying to get more nursing assistants in the state, and recently released a pilot program that includes the Florida Nurse Assistant Corps.
The corps is a network of nursing school programs that offer students from Florida’s nursing school community the opportunity to receive certification and training in nursing.
So far, the pilot program has only been used for students who are qualified to work in nursing and were eligible to receive the federal tax credit.
However that could change, since the Florida Department says the program is open to any student from any state and would welcome students who qualify for the tax credit in any state.
But it remains unclear what kind of support the state would be willing to provide students who do qualify for that federal credit.
The Department of Education did not respond to our request for comment.
It’s not just the lack of nursing assistant positions that is putting Florida nursing assistant shortage in the spotlight, but the lack on the part of the state of nurses to actually work.
According to a recent study, just 10 percent of Florida nursing assistants were paid overtime in the past year.
That means that if a nursing assistant was working full-time, they would make about $40 an hour.
This is despite Florida having a minimum wage of $8.65 an hour in 2017.
Florida also has one of the highest cost of living rates in the country, at $25,000 per year for a family of four.
While that is far above the national average, it’s still a big jump from a state that only has one percent of the U.S. population.
The shortage is not limited to Florida.
The U.N. has warned that the number of nurses in the United States could reach 100 percent by 2020.

warned that a shortage is already evident among U.K. hospitals, which have only 7 percent of nurses.

to recommend that the United Nations provide more funding to improve health care for all, including in nursing, in the coming years.
